Carpet Cleaning Nj My Ex-Landlord Is Being Shady. Wont Give Back Security Deposit.?

My Ex-Landlord is being shady. Wont give back security Deposit.? - carpet cleaning nj

That is the situation:
I Pulled from my apartment in New Jersey last month, after years prior to 2nd Before leaving the apartment, which we thoroughly cleaned and a rented carpet cleaning and steam cleaning the carpet. Now, a month later I received a letter from my landlord can not just keep my full security deposit, send cover the additional $ 200 to the cost of cleaning the apartment. That's over $ 1200 in total!

He asked me to pay for things like plumbing, garbage disposal. The cleanliness of the walls and ceiling (roof? WTF? Replace) the glass door, the arm of the door rusted. It was old. Clean blinds. Patch nail holes in the pictures.

Note, none of this had happened before we moved into the carpet at least 2 years before we moved any painting or repair holes in the former tenants. In fact, when we moved, we are the drive that was full of garbage to clean.

Anyone who knows anything about the rights of tenants, New Jersey?

Always a good idea to take pictures of your home before and after they have left and clean. Then call with your supervisor and a walk. Things that are normal wear, rust, things, and so are their due. During the cleaning of carpets, where bodies are left? If so, then he is entitled to demand more. The fact that he did not say before the onset of color, the walls were clean, but there are patches. Now, he says, they are dirty and need patching. Do you smoke? Smoking roof dirty and need to be repainted when moving smokers. Were his fingerprints, grease and damage to the painting? Without seeing the apartment, which is hard to say. I think that as a landlord, most tenants will find that you leave the apartment as clean and when they arrive, and it is very rare. Yes, if the tenants are in the windows and blinds clean, washed and brushed. But usually when they need to be cleaned out of the window blinds, wood is often contaminated with dust, a pantry full of crumbs and stains. TheyN'T've rented is that when she walked. The rugs have a term of 10 years about the possibilities that would have left 6 years of good life. This is another reason for all that carried to its owner, and a walk through the owners to leave. In addition, it can try to everything they can get from you. I have a client who is usually the deposit shall be paid by all tenants. They are not joking about who is really clean. Remember, it costs $ to get the apartment clean, and it is unfair to leave everything behind for the owners and proposed to pay expected to make it clean profitable. Furthermore, it is not fair for you to maintain the payment of normal wear products. You should talk to him, but give him a letter in response to what he wanted, and have to explain to all charges. If you are sure that they are fair, take it to court to make claim. Remember, this will test images, you have nothing.

We simply say that if you were not your deposit within a week, plead for the Council of State office.

I rented for a year and its almost certain that the link you get back. will try all the time. I would not bother to clean the carpets. unless you have under your lease any type of form on which you and the owner inspected the premises and any damage that existed when she moved, the landlord can continue to make and sign of guilt and reparation of any damage they demanded. Check .. Govt, you should lease rather than counseling as part of the services offered free advice. where we live. hey you arent Americans. try sueing a **. b ** tards get one of them lawyers, the only win if they win. I'm not going to pay this extra money he will not. let the courts will then file a counterclaim. good luck man. I do not see you making money Tho.

The best I can tell you that, you should check your lease. If they are not in any manner levied in the lease, you should not legally be paid (an additional $ 200). Sounds like you May before court if necessary to resolve this problem, if the owner will be persistent.

Next time, before and after image capture and keep the daily newspaper and a photo of the day for you to prove that the images may have added.

It will cost less than $ 100, going to court, so you have to do. Send a letter stating that you are 30 days back for the deposit or will still be in small claims court
